This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

A fob watch
my great-grandfather bought in 1920 or 1921. The glass has gone and it loses about 3 minutes over the course of the day. Haven't worn a wrist watch since the day I was given it.

Something to think about..
A service is probably a good idea at this point...

All the various moving parts in watches need checked and lubricated every so often, so you are probably long overdue with your great-grandfathers watch, and it is something I would rather suck up and pay for rather than risking the watch wearing out completely...

At the same time you can get it regulated to a much better accuracy too :)

Yeah
I've been saving up to get it serviced. Last time it was done was about 6 or 7 years ago. Need to get some new glass put in to it too.
