Ignorance
I once was in a programming class where the task was "build a calculator". A student did one with buttons 1, 2, 3 all the way up to about 25 and then ran out of space on the screen. We've asked this before but liked it so much we're asking again: What's the best example of ignorance you've encountered?

I once had a t-shirt that said simply
"SHUT UP AND FUCK OFF."
Now there's all this craze for "Keep Calm and Carry On", I'm thinking of reviving it.

Well
Many of the Levellers were originally members of the New Model Army, and Lilburne in particular was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Eastern Association when Cromwell was second in command. However, the Levellers drew support from a broader constituency than just the disaffected members of the Army left in the lurch by Parliamentary leaders at the end of the Second Civil War, in particular London apprentices and tradesmen. Plus, Walwyn and Overton had nothing to do with the New Model.
I agree with you - this person was terribly ignorant and should probably brush up on their c17th history.
