Ifyou didn't cause the accident then try getting rich quick and suing the guy who hit you.
Having said that, I do find that quite a lot of cyclists tend to be quite cavilier when it comes to road safety.
I'm not saying that you are, I both drive a car and cycle, but from what I've seen cyclists rarely take enough precautions and car drivers are simply arrogant as they're encased in metal. It's often hard to know who caused what.
