seen similarAnd this story brings some of the worst ones to mind. Friend of mine is a senior nurse specialising in burns. She did a stint in the Gulf war (first time round) and showed me the scrapbook of photos she was planning to use in her lectures Apparently one of the treatments for large, deep burns is to score it in a diamond pattern (so it doesn't constrict when it shrinks). Her comment of "It looks just like pork crackling doesn't it?" did not make me feel better.
