Reminds me of a car a college friend of mine had
He drove it from Stoke to Brum, bits falling off and seizing up all the way, until he reached his destination. The engine finally packed up at the end of the street, allowing him to coast gracefully to a halt outside his auntie's house.
He was only really disgruntled about the doors. One wouldn't open and one wouldn't shut. Seemed somehow unsporting of it.
