After the anaesthetic droplets wore off, it hurt like fuck, so I was given several painkillers with strength ranging from MASSIVE to mild to take over time as the pain got less severe.

Because I couldn't see, it was the responsibility of my g/f of the time to give me said drugs, and the stupid cow got them in the wrong order, giving me the mildest ones first. Ow.

I understand laser eye surgery is quite a simple and pain-free process nowadays.

I went by tube
but I went with my girlfriend who'd had the procedure herself six months previously, and after I guided her home with her eyes closed that time she did the same for me
