This book changed my life
The Goat writes, "Some books have made a huge impact on my life." It's true. It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.
What books have changed the way you think, the way you live, or just gave you a rollicking good time?
Friendly hint: A bit of background rather than just a bunch of book titles would make your stories more readable

"The Last Question" by Isaac Asimov
A ten page short story about entropy and the death of the universe. The ending makes it possibly the best short story I've ever read.

I don't care how popular this post gets; you just need to read this story. DON'T SKIP AHEAD.

Very good
I've been reading through some of Asimov's old short stories in various collections recently, but none of them had that one.

Oh man thank you
before I left England me and a couple of friends got very stoned and he looked that up on the internet and insisted I read it. I was a bit too baked to read at the time and the next morning I'd forgotten entirely what the story was called.

So, the final answer
is no longer 42, but that the creator is/was a computer?
