It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

...My mum's a librarian (actually, she's doesn't have a degree, so she's really a library branch manager because librarians get sniffy about their qualifications). Anyway, she always said that a good reader never loses their page. I do believe this, so my bookmarks are used to mark things of interest rather than my current place in the book.
Anyway, you get much better Christmas crackers than my family.
