It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

Rollicking good timeSomeone put me on to the list of "1001 Books to Read Before You Die".
At the time I had read all the books by my favourite authors, so have been using this list to discover new authors. So far, I've rated every one of the books at least 4 stars on Amazon website.
So the book "1001 Books to Read Before You Die" has changed my life - I'm reading more great books than when I just used to browse book shops hoping to find something to read.

That was written by some people I knowMany of the entries were done by PhD students at Sussex Uni while I was there. You'll be pleased to know that some of them didn't even read the books - they were being paid per review.

Well, it's still turned out to be a good list...I'm one step ahead. I'm going to issue "1003 Books..."
The extra two will be the Sickipedia book and a book about Taxidermy.
