It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

that sounds like a good idea, I shall try this, Thank you...i've only ever read one proper (aka not childrens book) book all the way though - Alien 3, probably because I knew most of the plot from the film but hey! (took ages too!)
