Up to a point, Lord CopperWorld War Z was an attempt, mostly successful, to impose the structure of John Hackett's "The Third World War: A Future History" onto Dawn of the Dead.
However, it wasn't the reportage that got me into it: it was the description of John Stewart and Ann Coulter fucking as the Apocalypse approaches.
