This is a question Books

Dark Tower series by Stephen King
The dark tower books from one to seven are fucking brilliant. Although the last one gave me proper shoulder ache after humping a metric tonne of book from work and back again for a few months

I found they devolved into wankery towards the middle.
Redeemed it a little bit towards the end, but why wheelchair girl didn't just draw herself standing up I'll never know.

I really enjoyed most of it, an awful climactic showdown though, (although the much maligned actual ending is rather good, if you ignore the bits where the author has a go at you for wanting to know the ending)

It really showed that Stephen King didn't seem to be a very well man after his van accident though.

I always thought...
If she can draw a magical door to Narnia fuck knows where she can draw a pair of legs.

Or whatever actually happened, I can't really remember.
