This is a question Books

by Earl Thompson. I've never met anyone who's heard of it, let alone read it. It is, however, magnificent.

Yup, fantastic. Borrowed it from a friend when I was 15 and never forgot it (naturally, cos it's full of rude bits), and finally managed to get a very tattered and and old copy via Amazon about a year ago. A Garden of Sand, its predecessor, is equally brilliant.

You star.
And 15 is the perfect age to read it. I was 14/15 and it taught me everything I needed to know about sex, swearing and Kansas.

On your recommendation I am ordering Garden of Sand this very arvo.
