I never read the book as the short movie was enough to satisfy me and they played it every night on TV for what seemed years.
I love a happy ending.

actually bought a copy of "Fly Fishing" by J.R. Hartley, in the hope that it would be an amusing parody.
It was, in fact, a book about Fly Fishing which is neither funny nor especially useful in the middle of Bradford.
