An update!I've actually had to stop reading "The woman in Black". I spent the whole of Friday night/Saturday morning dreaming I was Arthur Kipps and I was trapped in Eel Marsh house by fog. I kept waking up sweating then realising it was a dream, letting relief slip over me and then falling straight back into the nightmare again.
It could have been something to do with drinking red wine before sleeping (red wine has never agreed with me in various ways) but I didn't feel particularly terrified by the book it just decided to slip over into my dreams causing the worst night sleep I've ever had.
