I actually own an Orgone Accumulator
Or rather, an orgone energy device. It's supposed to be able to detect and then cure illnesses -- ones you haven't actually got yet, I think. From memory it describes itself as a "De La Warr Energy Device".
It was sealed, but naturally I opened it up. I expected to see nothing at all inside - a snake-oil hoax - but no, there are lots of carefully hand-made components, in brass, copper and perspex.
Unfortunately I've never managed to make it do anything. Regardless of how loud I play Hawkwind at it.
