A thrupenny upright was a cheap and cheerful service performed by a dollymop, bunter or night flower, wherein a gentleman might be stimulated to climax by pushing his honourable member for underpants between the tops of said dollymop's thighs, thus simulating the act of fornication.

I've rode rantipole with many a slattern. and know that a thrupenny upright describes both the act and the strumpet herself
