Chatting to some lovely fellows in Amsterdam, my very stoned friend kept asking "what is the Dutch for ??" questions.
The guys were very patient, until my friend declared "I really wanna learn Dutch properly!"
They all just shook their heads quizzically, and one asked "Seriously, why? You've won the language lottery already... Only we even speak it, and we all speak English aswell. Learning Dutch would just be a massive waste of everyones time!"
