Given that visibility on the M40 was very bad and occured in not only fog but low cloud
and that the cause was standstill traffic due to an accident which then had a horrible domino effect (well, at least proving that people drive like cunts) and given that any driver would be focusing so hard in the awful conditions to not really bother with the rear view mirror in fact looking in the rear view I would deem dangerous) and would also be travelling at a speed that would put "observing" a crash that caused the incident a very moot point indeed.
