This story is not a lie
It's true. I didn;t get into fights. and apart from the "kicking my mate so hard in the balls he passed out briefly" time I never got in a fight with them.

I did make a point of kicking stuff when bullies around cos it did discorage them "Leave em, he;s got steelies" was a phrase I heard a few times.

I had 2 pairs. had to replace the 1st pair after I had mashed the steel up so much that they cut a long line across the top of my toes, I did try banging them back into place but they were too far gone.
