A slight change would make it look not quite so bad

By placing the relevant section in brackets it gives the comment on the rape and suicide the appreance of after thought, stated for info purposes.

I think this is what was intended. Depite his anger I seriously doubt he took any pleasure from the rape and suicide of minor no matter what provocation.

He could remove the 'result!'

I'm hoping he didn't mean it in the way it's being read.
Unfortunately the tone of the whole thing and following sentences admonishing all teachers etc leads me to believe he probably did.
