I sincerely hope it's the former and I do agree with the sentiment you expressed there. You acknowledge that it may have been illconceived phraseology. I know the poster personally and am willing to give him the benefit of my doubt.

However, surely "How dare you condone something as awful as rape! People like you should be raped!" ranks pretty highly on the list of hypocritical righteous indignation.

I really don't want him to be raped.
I'd just like him to understand how disgusting he sounds. Seriously, if they were handing out breeding licenses, I'd like to not give them to the man desperately trying to prove his machismo by any means necessary, even condoning the sexual violation of children.
