Happened to me as well
I jumped into a swimming pool and was told by a group of asian lads that I got them wet, My comment that they were in a swimming pool and they were already wet was enough for them to form around me and punch & kick me whilst I took a shower.
The racist card can not be played by a white youth, but can be played at any point my a minority. When I reported these guys to the manager he was told I called them names which woudl be racist how can I prove otherwise, the little shits, 1-1 fair enough not 8-1 thats just not cricket.
