Buses
We've got a local bus driver who likes to pull away slowly just to see how far old ladies with shopping trollies will chase him down the road. By popular demand - tell us your thrilling bus anecdotes.
Thanks to glued eel for the suggestion

Margaret Thatcher once said;
“A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself on a bus can count himself as a failure.”
I’m sure that we all wish her a quick recovery from her recent accident.

Thats been edited and put out of context by commie left wing bastards.
The unedited version reads: “A man who, playing hide and seek with himself, out of his fucking mind on pills and booze, beyond the age of 26, who finds himself on a bus can count himself as a failure.”

Always thought
that was a bit arbitrary, I mean, 26? Why not 25, Thatch? Or 27 and three quarters?
And how do you "find" yourself on a bus? You have to consciously go up, board and pay, it's not as if you're suddenly going to come to and say, "Crikey! I'm - I'm on a BUS!"
Or perhaps she meant "finds himself" in the drippy-hippy self-discovery sense, in which cases, buses - at least in my experience - are hardly the calm, chilled-out meditation centres in which one could attempt such a thing.
Perhaps she meant to say,
"A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself wanking on a bus can count himself as a failure.”

alternatively.....
“A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself on a bus can count himself as a failure.”
...or is thinking about the bloody environment, you daft. old. bat.
Now, die please.
grr.
[Edit: Another thatcher quote - "That may be the truth, but you must always remember you can't tell the people." also, grrrrrr.]

Sorry for the pedantry
But she actually never said that at all. It was someone who stole it from someone else.
Feel free to start decrying me for being a dirty Thatcherite now.
