It depends on how much mileage you doand how important it is to you that the car's not off the road being repaired.
That said, I bought my last car, the Laguna II, new. And it was never out of the garage. It really was a badly made car. I replaced 7 (seven) track rod ends on it during the time I had it, among more serious problems.
