I've heard a similar story beforeAbout a guy on a train who gets caught out in near identical cicumstances- turned out when his phone had to be used in an emergency it was in fact a dog toy.

I heard about a poseurwho lost control of his car and ran it off the road whilst talking on his mobile, which subsequently turned out to be a pencil case.
