I'm jealousI so very nearly met the legend myself. a mate of mine was running a night in a disused tube station in the west end and mr peel was booked to play. as i was offering my services as a dogsbody for the evening, i'd definitely be able to pop over and say hello. but then he died just before the night, and then the night got cancelled because of some shitty legal nonsense. and then the lead singer of coil, who were also due to play, fell off a balcony in germany and died on the night he was meant to be there. so it went a bit wrong really.
