'Poetry'
Written by me in a Valentines Day card to the object of my (teenage) affections. No need for any explanations here, the body of work speaks for itself...

"There is a young man with big feet
Who wants to go out with Louise
He hasn't the guts
To ask her upfront
So please, will you go out with me?"

Needless to say, it tanked. The sheer humiliation has left those words imprinted on my brain for all eternity.

Awe
Have a click. It sounds suprisingly similar to what happened to me recently.. My girlfriend decided to spend a while reading her book [Twilight -- *facepalm*] when I was stupidly bored.. So I decided to write her a witty and sexy Limerick on a post-it, leave it as her bookmark so when she came to pick her book back up, it would leave her 100% woo'd and besotted by my gifts of literature and gain back her attention and adoration. It went like this:

There once was a hotty named Sarah
Who's beauty kept getting fairer and fairer
It would be heaven and bliss
If I could just get a kiss
But they keep getting rarer and rarer

The result? I forgot all about it within 10 minutes, and wasn't reminded of it until fairly recently when her younger sister, the owner of the said book, found the make-shift bookmark.. And decided to share it amongst everyone. Brilliant.
