Cheap Tat
OneEyedMonster remindes us about the crap you can buy in pound shops: "Batteries that lasted about an hour and then died. A screwdriver with a loose handle so I couldn't turn the damn screw, and a tape measure which wasn't at all accurate."
Similarly, my neighbour bought a lawnmower from Argos that was so cheap the wheels didn't go round, it sort of skidded over the grass whilst gently back-combing it.
What's the cheapest, most useless crap you've bought?

Actually
some of the early go-bots were superior to their Transformer counterparts...I picked up this guy from a car boot sale and was quite amazed at the quality of the materials and design of his transformation compared to the "genuine" TF minibots available at the time. Most of them were arse though, it has to be said.

Aha, a Rock Lord
yep, they really were a bag of shite. Whoever thought that the Gobots franchise could be improved by moving away from robots that turned into cars, helicopters, tanks and planes, to robots that turned into rocks really buried the franchise.
I also bought a copy of the Rock Lords movie from a car boot sale. Let me put it this way, while Transformers the movie featured the voice talent of Judd Nelson, Eric Idle, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack and Orson Welles, the Rock Lords movie starred Roddy McDowall, Telly Savalas and Margot Kidder. In the end I threw away the tape and used to box to keep weed in.

Telly Savalas?!?
wasn't all bad then!
i always prefered transformers,
i just could never imagine optimus prime saying "autobots, transform.. into rocks" and everyone wanted the prime figure, i had ultra magnus and coloured him with crayons, anyway, my dislike of the go-bots grew from the rock one!!
