Everybody I knew as kid wanted one but never got one. Did they not sell any? 20 years later, I bought my kids one. It doesn't work.

But then I found the trick is to not use ice that's been sitting in the freezer for weeks on end. Use partially frozen ice. The sort that's still a bit watery in the middle.
