I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

It's like this1. You decide to support a particular team.
2. You therefore hope for them to have success.
3. If they are successful, you are happy, if they are not you are disappointed.
4. Ergo, the outcome of the game matters. Not on any global scale, but to you and others like you.
