The local bands thingI play in a local band. We have little control over how loud the idiot sound guy makes it. We know how it sounds on stage, but that has nothing to do with how loud it is or how it sounds out front.
I often wonder if they've ever actually heard music before. I was listening to the soundcheck for a band we were supporting the other night, stood next to the sound guy basically, and I couldn't hear one of the guitars. Did the sound guy do anything about it? Fuck no!
