Complaining
I like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

I complained about shitty two-party politics
by voting for an independent MP instead of either of the two major parties. Ended up getting $340 million to revamp the local hospital.

My Thought Also
If only it worked that way where I live. I am ruled by Bronwyn Bishop, but at least she did do that one brilliant thing: made a map of dunnies in the CBD. For that I love her. And I could hide in her hair helmet any time there's a bomb scare.

Yep
Frankly I think the current situation is brilliant. Denison's been getting shafted for years because it was such a safe Labor seat, so neither party would bother to throw any money at it (you just have to look at the roads - up north in the marginal seats they have brand new multi lane highways, down here we may as well have goat tracks). Labor took it for granted that they'd keep Denison when Kerr retired, and now they're having to pay for that complacency with long-awaited barrels of pork. I love it.

$340 million for the hospital?
Wow. But I'm hoping there was enough left over to pay the binmen to collect the rubbish every now and again plus all the other services... ;o)
