My elderly neighbour complained bitterly when I had a houseful of men running up and down the stairs and shoutingWhich was puzzling as I lived alone and had been asleep in bed by 9 after an early shift.
Turned out that he'd just had his first hearing aid and set it too high, and was misinterpreting sounds from the telly.
