ComplainingI like writing letters of complaint to companies containing the words "premier league muppetry", if only to give the poor office workers a good laugh on an otherwise dull day. Have you ever complained? Did it work?

If it's not mum/dad/sis/bro/child then there's no time off given!I think if it's a family or friend an afternoon off for a funeral is fair enough, but if it's not a relative or close friend, and you're getting upset over someone else's problem then you should MTFU.
Sympathy and empathy are fine, but shouldn't affect what you do day to day.
