In Texas supermarkets......you can get supermarket trolleys attached to disabled car/scooter thingies, so as long as you park near the trolley park you can waddle to the trolley then drive yourself around the supermarket. As others have said, I can understand the medical need for this in some cases, but walk round a supermarket in Houston and you'll see literally dozens of the things. Almost as if they're encouraging people to be obese, by making it easy to cope with.
