Conned

Have you carried out a successful con? Perhaps you hustled a few quid off a stranger, or defrauded a multi-national company. Or have you been taken for the wide-eyed, naive rube that you are?

very good point
we have homeless people in my town who make more money per year than i do......and i work 40+ with a college education.
not all homeless people (or those who live off benefits) do so because of addiction, abuse, etc.........many do it by choice.
it is quite accurate for me to say that around 50% of the criminal defendants that waltz through my office are living off government benefits when they have nothing wrong with them that would prevent them from having a job other than the fact that they are lazy.
i was quite amazed when i found out recently that i could make quite a bit more money per year if i quit working and lived off benefits for myself and 2 kids. yet, i keep working. after all, i do have my pride and the respect of my children....which is far more important!
