Me and my mates used to have to get taxi's all the time when we stayed in BellshillBut we used to go up to taxi's and say "£15 to Bellshill. One drop off, cash up front"
Might go through a few taxi's before one says yes, but you'll normally get one fairly easily.
(Hastie Cabs in Hamilton are normally pretty reasonable too)
