Have you carried out a successful con? Perhaps you hustled a few quid off a stranger, or defrauded a multi-national company. Or have you been taken for the wide-eyed, naive rube that you are?

I can't quite see the parallels. Not all Muslims are terrorists; not all black people are drug dealers. But all street beggars are street beggars, no matter what they spend their money on.
