After all it was a stand-up routine, nothing more. It was to be listened to and enjoyed, not taken away and analysed.

I've been a fan since I saw him in about 88/89? Bristol I think, not sure anymore.
Got the cd's, films, books. I've always thought that as a comedian and tongue-in-cheek cod-philosopher he was brilliant. Yeah, definitely had some messages to pass on but I reckon people have always taken this sort of thing too seriously. He was a comedian, not the new messiah.
