Most moonlander deniers wouldn't believe the evidence if you flew them to the moon and banged their head repeatedly on the side of the Eagle's descent stage.It's more fun to point out that not only would the Russians have to be in on it, despite being sworn enemies of the US who would have leapt at the chance to discredit them, but so would all the amateur astronomers who tracked the spacecraft, monitored the transmissions and received and decoded the images.
Basically, the conspiracy would probably have to have included more people in it than it was trying to fool - and would probably have been more difficult than just going there in the first place!
