Yes and no
Last time I was going regularly - which is about 10 years ago now - it went in waves. there'd be weeks and weeks when it was like a primary school, then there'd be a couple of months where everyone in there was acrtually old enough to drink.

In the "young" weeks, I would ask for ID before "doing anything" with anyone I met in there.
