Have you been trapped in the relentless petty minded bureaucracy of your local council?
Why does it require 3 forms of ID to get a parking permit when the car in question is busy receiving a parking ticket right outside the parking office?
Or do you work for Hackney Council?

PolandLiving in the city of Katowice in southern Poland, I had to renew a work permit to stay in the country. To do this, I had to have an official address. Since I didn't own a flat, I was renting from a woman who was paying no tax on the rent and who therefore wouldn't let me give her address as mine. I told this to the council and they said: no address - no job.
So I made one up and gave them that. No problems. I found out later that I was officially living in a butcher's shop in the town centre.
