This is a question Hotel Splendido

Enzyme writes, "what about awful hotels, B&Bs, or friends' houses where you've had no choice but to stay the night?"

What, the place in Oxford that had the mattresses encased in plastic (crinkly noises all night), the place in Blackpool where the night manager would drum to the music on his ipod on the corridor walls as he did his rounds, or the place in Lancaster where the two single beds(!) collapsed through metal fatigue?

Add your crappy hotel experiences to our list.

Thanks folks!
Good to be appreciated. And as a post-script: the great thing was that we had a super two weeks or so of sun, sea and the other thing before returning home, me to Bournemouth tech and her to Birmingham uni. She visited me once boosting my standing and I vistited her once - we went to see Bauhaus, then at Christmas, she chucked me, but although a bit miffed for a few days, it wasn't too bad as I wasn't really in love with her.

Win - win.
