Good for you!I'm a big cat fan, I own 2, plus a dog. My sister bought a rescue cat yesterday, so it looks like cats are the flavour of the month! He will give you way more pleasure that nights out on the piss and he gets a good home out of it too! Best of luck with him, he looks like a great hunter!
