Did you score a bargain in Woolworths?
Meet someone nice in the queue to withdraw your 10p from Northern Rock?
Get made redundant from the job you hated enough to spend all day on b3ta?
How has the credit crunch affected you?

due to 4 days sickness
This month's pay is missing 2 seperate bonuses and 4 days less pay. Due to chickenpox I'm £600 worse off this month, yeys, so everything I cook will be based on rice.
And yes, Legless's student cooking guide is very good, well worth spending a few mins swotting this up.

I can also recommend...
doing a gogle search for "Wartime recipes" or "rationing recipes" - things like Woolton pie are a) tasty, b) cheap and, c) good for you - if the poor/chav underclass at stuff like this instead of turkey twizzlers and KFC, we wouldn't have rampant obesity... By the way, if you're sat on your ass all day watching Jeremy Kyle whislt livign on benefits, what excuse is there for not cooking a proper meal, as opposed to getting takeaway or heating up some processed crap? If I and my wife can manage it and we both work, I am damned sure they can...lazy fuckers
