Creepy!
Smash Monkey asks: "what's the creepiest thing you've seen, heard or felt? What has sent shivers running up your spine and skidmarks running up your undercrackers? Tell us, we'll make it all better"

Worzel Gummidge
I was only about 8 when this came out. Scared the shit out of me.
Scarecrows are bad enough but this one was alive!
He looked weird, he spoke weird, the crow man had to re-stuff him sometimes to make him work and he could take his own fucking head off!
His head! Right off!
His thinking head was bad enough but then he put on his handsome head and looked like someone dug up Errol Flynn and gave him porcelain veneers.
There would always be fights or arguments with other straw stuffed freaky looking characters, and his love interest was something that looked like the scary dolls you find in the corners of old ladies bedrooms.
I only need to hear the words 'cup 'o tea and a slice 'a cake' and I feel upset.

She was an Aunt Sally. Called Aunt Sally.
She wasn't his love interest in the books. He was banging another scarecrow. And the Crow Man was way scarier in Catweazle.
[insert more tedious wurzel trivia here]
