Eternal Darkness
Eternal darkness on the gamecube. They all told me "Don't look in the bathtub." I explored the mansion, saw the bath and walked past, ignoring it. Every time I passed I got a little voice saying "look in, it can't be that bad." this voice got louder, I knew I wasn't going to like it, but still I couldn't stop myself. I MUST know what's in, I MUST.

What was in the tub? Shock, fear, and soiled underwear. Couldn't even look at a bath for weeks, thank god we have a shower.

I think it's the L plate sat proudly next to it that makes it so special.

You could have said the whole sodding game, not only does the game do things like the bathtub part but it also likes to screw with you in other ways (one that I rememberwas the part where the computer pretends to turn the volume down on the TV by showing a fake graphic of a TV sound bar going down to zero)

was a fantastic game.
I love the way that as well as losing health etc you could also lose sanity and weird shit would start happening.

Why did it never get a sequel?

I was trying to leave the sense of mystery I had, longing to know but everyone saying not too.

Any way, look in the tub and you see your character in the bath, dead. It flashes for just a second there's a scream. As I remember it. The water was red with blood and the girl's eyes were gouged out, but I thunk that might just have been in my mind.
