This is a question Customers from Hell

The customer is always right. And yet, as 'listentomyopinion' writes, this is utter bollocks.

Tell us of the customers who were wrong, wrong, wrong but you still had to smile at (if only to take their money.)

Observation skills.
Once I worked in a shop which was burned out in the early hours before opening. Turned out to be arson, but anyway....
8am comes and I would normally open the shop, but the fire engines still in the carpark with hoses leading through the smashed front windows, firemen milling about, piles of molten and burnt stock in the carpark etc would - you would think anyway - point to the shop not being open.
Did any of this stop the constant stream of people?
"Are you open?"
People were actually stooping down and crawling under the partly opened shutters and stepping through the broken glass and debris as if this was the normal way to enter a shop..."Oh, what do you mean you arent open, its after 8oclock."

Working in pubs
is worse. The regular piss artists gather outside at 10.59 sharp and press their little faces to the glass. The world will end if the doors don't open on time, what do you mean there's an electrical fault? When the place opens, they then HAVE to sit in their usual little spot. I've had twats move barriers and tools so they can sit in "their" place, regardless of cables, which could conceivably be live, hanging in their faces.
"Yeah, but.....that's where I sit".
Thick cunts.

It wouldn't even be so bad if they were beer monsters, but they sit there nestling half a pint of bitter for an hour then move off to the next pub on their rota.

I worked in a store that was closing down.
I was there the day the store was finally cleared out (thanks head cunting office, just me and a 7 month pregnant woman to empty a whole shop).

The doors were open as we had just finished loading up the van, the shop was completely empty of all fixtures and fittings. And some dumb ass bitch comes in wanting a refund and gets shitty when I won't give it too her.
