Customers from Hell
The customer is always right. And yet, as 'listentomyopinion' writes, this is utter bollocks.
Tell us of the customers who were wrong, wrong, wrong but you still had to smile at (if only to take their money.)

tosspots
I too work in the motor trade this is so familiar. A few months ago we had a situation very similar to your first. The difference was that we had another person on the car, however out of courtesy we offered first refusal to the first tosspot. Despite being told if you dont take the car these other people will do you want the car or not? He wouldnt comitt despite looking at the car for 2 weeks and driving it twice "Ill think about it"
Car sells , 3 days later we get the phone call to say i want it. Sorry too late .
Tosspot threatens to sue for selling the car out under him. Never mind that he had signed no paperwork , paid no deposit or even said yes i want it. Apparently we are meant to turn down a sale on the off chance that he may want it.
